Sharing your thoughts, feelings and memories about Bonnie.
As you know, this is an incredibly trying time for our family. We know that you are all reeling from the sudden loss of such a wonderful woman who touched so many lives in unique and special ways. In light of this tragedy, we feel it is important to remember what made Bonnie such a joy to have as a part of our world.
As a tribute to Bonnie, we would like to compile our collective memories of her into a remembrance book. We hope to have this document available in a tangible form at Bonnie's memorial service which is being held at EV Free Church in Fullerton on Tuesday, March 29th at 2:00 pm. We also intend to have an electronic form available for those who will not be able to attend the service.
Please send us your poignant words and fond memories as well as any photographs you have of Bonnie (as we are also composing a slide show which will be on view at Tuesday's service) no later than THURSDAY, MARCH 24th at 8 PM. Email anything to us at the following link: or email at bonniesmemorial@hotmail.com.
Thank you again for your continued prayers and support in this difficult time.
With love,
The family.

I am feeling so much better being off antibiotic for about 1 week now. With the c -def infection finally behind me I am getting my energy back. My oncologist office gave me a prescription for something to help with my appetite and I haven't gained any weight back yet, but if I continue to eat like I am I hope to at least put on 5lbs before next chemo treatment.
Over the weekend I started having a little extra energy so I am taking it slow, but it sure feels good to be able to start doing a few every day things around the house again. My neice Amy spent Saturday night and all day Sunday with me while Geoff and Noah were out of town. We had a great time together and even made a trip out to target to get some idea's for organizing my dishes. Monday was my first day out driving in quite awhile. I brought Noah to Sylvan, met my honey Geoff for Starbucks(haven't had a coffee drink in months) then we did some shopping at Costco. I think it also helps that it is warm here and I'm not freezing cold all the time. Tuesday was my running around to a few places which went well but I was glad to get home and take a nap. Wednesday had breakfast with my dear friend Marlene at Cocoa's. I'm starting to have some very specific idea's of food choices like I did for this morning wanting a cinnamon roll bread like pancake....yum yum. I even had a whole cup of coffee.
As you can here, I am very thankful for my blessings. I am thankful for all those who pray for me and continually lift Geoff, Noah and I up to a God who hears and answers our prayers. How sad for those who don't have that. So as I continue on this journey thank you for your prayers, those who still send cards and Bob and Adelle thank you so much for the books you sent last week. I am reading mine and I know Geoff and Noah are reading the other one together. That was very considerate. I hope to be able pass them on to someone who is in need and give back as you have given to us.
God is Good and We are Thankful for All that you do for us everyday.
love, Bonnie

Good news, my dr just called and my c -def infection test came back negative! Praise God. I was first diagnosted on Dec. 7th. I've been taking 2 different antibiotic's. When one didn't work anymore then my dr was able to get me a stronger pill that worked on the infected area but it was an expensive pill and my insurance didn't approve it before. I started taking it and my symptons started going away. Which leads us to todays positive lab report. I'm excited to start eating more and putting a few pounds back on.
Thank you to all who have been praying on this infection to go away. We know God hears our prayer. Thank You God for letting us coming to you with anything. We love you.

It's been a rough few days with this infection but I am cutting down on the antibiotic since I've been throwing up every night. It seems like the pill I take after dinner comes back up after 10pm when I'm just sleeping comfortably then the stomach wrenching starts and then the antibiotic wants out. So today I did well with a pill after breakfast and lunch. If I do okay tonight I will let my dr know what I'm doing and hopfully I can do another sample to the lab and the infection is gone.
I am so thankful for those who continue to pray for us. Geoff pulled something in his back, so he is going to the chiroprator for treatment and just moving around slowly. Good thing we have Noah here to take care of us. So pray for healing for Geoff's back, that my c-def infection is finally gone and I start having more energy and stronger appetite. We know God is watching over us and he doesn't give us more than we can handle. God is Good.
